Archive of Forgetfulness

Several spatial illustrations and visuals have been designed and produced for Archive of Forgetfulness and its presence as an online archive. The archive traces mobility and infrastructure as underpinning themes, and how these spatial scaffolds hold or erase forms of memory and historical documentation across the African continent. The project holds three parts – a landing graphic and paired illustrations were developed for the online exhibition which collates the Conversations with Neighbours podcast episodes (Part 1) and the twenty-seven contributed artistic works by various selected contributors (Part 2). In Part 3, a series of graphics were produced for each of the six regional curatorial projects, covering reflections from Nigeria, Rwanda, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco and Sudan.
